This job requires approximately 15-20 hours per week.
The schedule is usually about 2 afternoons per week day with rotating every other weekend.
The job duties include but are not limited to caring for the animals in our care which includes walking, feeding, cleaning, restraining, medicating, bathing and playing with the dogs and cats.
The kennel attendant is also responsible for janitorial duties to include taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting, picking up trash, cleaning bathrooms, washing dishes and more.
This is an active job and we are looking for someone who is interested in working hard and being willing to learn about the responsibilities of working within an animal hospital with eventually learning how to work with veterinary technicians.
